Mozhaets

Mozhaets: A Dystopian Science Fiction is a comic I've been doing on-and-off since 2005. Recently, I decided I was no longer happy with pretty much every aspect of it, and have since been working on a reboot.

Mozhaets (pronounced like pause-hates) is about a man deeply entrenched in a world of capitalism, fear mongering, and social control. Only when he is arrested and imprisoned along with terrorists and murderers does he begin to discover what "life" really means.

Sounds cheesy? Maybe. In some ways that's the point - Mozhaets has endured a roller coaster of a life-span thus far. Originally designed as a black and white diversion to another project, the story was light-hearted and bouncy. As I grew up, so did the story, and it began taking on very dark, emotional turns.

The present iteration now sits more comfortably in the middle - not too cartoonish, but not too serious either, Mozhaets acts as a commentary on the story telling medium, and asks why we love our good old fashioned adventure stories.

Look forward to it's re-launch, on DECEMBER 21st, 2010 When it will update a page every working day for a full month. After that, it'll be updated every Monday and Thursday.
